Market Update - November 2022

November saw both sales and new listings decline, keeping on the trend we’ve seen in the Fraser Valley real estate market for much of the year.

Overall, house prices saw some minor fluctuations but remained fairly stable overall. The most notable month over month variations were seen in the Langley attached home market, where a 10% dip in prices was recorded, and in the detached market in South Surrey/ White Rock where it went from a balanced market to a buyers market. Interestingly, the detached market in SS/ WR has been fluctuating between a buyers market and balanced market throughout the fall season.

As we move into the holiday season, the real estate market remains active with both buyers and sellers taking advantage of this calmer market to strategize their next move.
